MISSION STATEMENT
 

The purpose of Desert Water Ministries is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world utilizing music ministry, preaching, community outreach, and short-term mission opportunities as God provides the means and opportunities.

 

Desert Water Ministries will strive to do the following:

• Present the good news of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son—that He has come to set us free from the bondage of our sins and the consequences of those sins.  This is the gospel.

• Present the gospel of Jesus with integrity and honor bringing glory to God and to Jesus, by whom and for whom we live and move and have our being.

• Present the gospel in all cases following the instructions and examples set forth in the Bible, God’s written word, while being sensitive to but without being bound by tradition or culture.

• Present the gospel in a real-world way providing not only spiritual and intellectual truth but by also providing for the physical and mental needs of people as the means are available.

• Teach the principle of the reconciliation of all true believers in Jesus Christ from various doctrinal, denominational, and traditional backgrounds.

• Progress towards excellence in all areas of ministry utilizing continuing study, training, and practice as God provides means.

• Train up the next generation of leaders via mentoring and instructional processes.
